A goal review is a way to return attention to what really matters. It helps separate active priorities from outdated intentions and accidental obligations.
Why goals need review
Goals change because circumstances change. A goal that was important six months ago may no longer support the current strategy, role or life situation.
Without review, people continue spending energy on tasks that no longer bring value. This creates fatigue and the feeling of being busy but not moving forward.
Questions for review
Ask yourself: which goals are still relevant? Which should be stopped? Which require more resources? Which depend on other people? Which are actually habits, not goals?
A good review ends with decisions: continue, change, postpone, delegate or close.
Make goals visible
Write goals in a form that can be checked. Add criteria, deadlines and the next action. If a goal has no next action, it remains a wish.
